Fund My Future is now STATEWIDE
Due to our great success in Propel Schools and Allegheny County with nearly 4,000 families currently participating, we recently formed a new collaboration with Pennsylvania State Treasurer, Joe Torsella. Now all families across Pennsylvania can participate in this one-of-a-kind children’s savings program. As a result of this AWESOME collaboration we now have an increased monthly prize pool of $8,000 available to all participants.
In addition to the increased prize pool, Fund My Future participants will enroll by simply taking the PA Savings Pledge as a reminder of their reason for saving. Those not enrolled can simply go to fundmyfuturepa.org and take the PA Savings Pledge. Monthly raffle tickets are sent by email, giving everyone a chance to win. Prizes are awarded to those with winning tickets as long as they have made a deposit of at least $1 into their child’s savings account. Congratulations Ms. Corinealdi!
Ms. Toni Corinealdi was recently named the Fund My Future Outreach Director for Allegheny County. Although she will continue to oversee Fund My Future events at various partner sites, she will also provide Fund My Future coaching and training during the Pennsylvania Statewide expansion.
Fund My Future is Looking for Volunteers
Fund My Future is currently looking for volunteers. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer in one of the following areas, please email info@fundmyfuturepa.org or call 833-SAVEWIN (728-3946) with your contact information.
ENROLLMENT – Assist with enrollment at various partner scheduled events.
ANNUAL EVENTS – Attend monthly planning committee meetings to assist with coordinating annual events. Volunteers will be assigned to a specific task for annual events.
SCHEDULER – Assist with follow up phone calls to schedule appointments with families to open accounts.
MAIL HANDLER – Assist with the preparation of mailers, including but not limited to stuffing, postage, sealing, etc.

Pittsburgh Saves Kick-off Event
On January 16th Fund My Future along with Neighborhood Allies, The Financial Empowerment Center, and The United Way hosted the “Pittsburgh Saves” Kick-Off to promote “America Saves.” This event was held at the Human Services Center Corporation in Turtle Creek, PA. There were several banks onsite including Dollar Bank, Citizens Bank and PNC Bank, ready to answer banking questions and open accounts for interested families. In addition, all attending families were entered in the on-site raffle for a chance to win gift cards!
